Statistics show that many conservatives tend to deny the existence of global warming. In an effort to end the movement once and for all, a climate study was done that was funded by many conservatives. These funders of the study include the Koch brothers, who are wealthy businessmen resisting this environmental change.
The study showed that since the mid- 1950's, global average temperatures have risen by 1.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a significant difference in terms of the average temperature. This confirms that global warming is, in fact, a true and concerning issue in the world.
When this study was severely criticized for its supposed inaccuracy, a new study was done using more reliable temperature recording techniques and a larger set of records. Although the findings of this study have not been formally published, it is known that the results have again confirmed the temperature increase trend.
